As BIM Manager , Radu works closely with teams of architects, enabling them to focus on design exploration and effectively documenting & coordinating their designs. He sees his role in Design Technology unit as the perfect application of his highly rational & analytical thinking stemming from a background in programming and unencumbered creativity, courtesy of being trained & working as an architect. Radu uses this varied experience to design custom workflows and develop bespoke tools that both improve the process of architectural design for teams and raise the entire practice’s capabilities and operational efficiency. Radu has also been teaching computational design in Dynamo and Revit at the Canterbury School of Architecture for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the past 5 years.
